Alley Cat Allies

Goal was to develop and transform communities to protect cats and improve lives of cats.

Worked toward a world where every cat is valued and protected & every community/shelter has policies/programs to save cats’ lives.

They value: people and their compassion for saving cats, actions that advance cats’ best interests, teamwork as a means to achieve same goals.

Their goals: expand and promote cat care, increase understanding of cats to change attitudes and eliminate misconceptions, and reform public policies/institutions to serve the best interest of cats.

My product solved the problem by letting users:

1.Reporting cats on the street so they can get back to their home or local non-kill animal shelter or adopting cats from shelters,

2. Adopt and find homes for cats so they won’t be killed,

3.Try to contact them only with local no-kill shelters,
4. Make better shelters by taking action.
